Danish courses
From beginner to advanced levels
Whether you’re brand new to the language or have already mastered some aspects of Danish, we offer courses based on your life and adapted to your lifestyle. You can choose from:
- Danish courses in the mornings or evenings
- Danish courses on Saturdays
- Online instruction that you can access from any location
Our course instruction is always focused on teaching you the Danish you need in your everyday life. Therefore, our primary focus is on spoken Danish – learning to understand and speak Danish with the Danes.
We keep the classroom instruction engaging and relevant by adapting course content to students’ interests and current events. You’ll learn the basic grammar needed to formulate yourself correctly and we’ll build your vocabulary by reading and discussing current texts.
Free FVU skill development courses
Strengten your Danish speaking, writing and reading skills
FVU courses offer free, in-depth instruction in Danish and mathematics. Completing FVU Reading and FVU Mathematics qualifies you to apply for admission to a Danish vocational education program.
- FVU Start strengthens your speaking skills, comprehension and vocabulary in Danish. The course is designed to prepare you for continued studies in FVU Reading.
- FVU Reading provides thorough instruction in spelling, reading and writing in Danish. You will improve your ability to understand the nuances of the language and formulate yourself correctly, while expanding your vocabulary and gaining greater insight into Danish grammar and sentence structure. Passing FVU level 4 will also qualify you to apply for Danish citizenship.
- FVU Mathematics is a course for those who need to improve their mathematical skills and understanding of numbers. We work with Danish terminology in mathematics, geometry, statistics, etc., enabling you to use mathematics in your work and everyday life.
Exam preparation courses
Focused courses that prepare you for Danish Exam 3 (PD3)
We offer a course dedicated to preparing you for the PD3 Danish exam.
Our teachers have extensive experience with this exams and can tell you exactly what is expected of you and how to best prepare. Our exam preparation courses give you:
- Focused instruction to provide the skills required to pass the exam
- Individual feedback on your skills and challenges from an experienced teacher and examiner
- Extensive practice in all aspects of the exam
