Our Danish course on Saturday combines intensive classroom instruction once a week with a flexible online self-study programme. The course is for those who have more time on weekends. You can choose to take all of your Danish language courses on Saturdays, or just a single module.
A Danish Course on Saturdays gives you a flexible course structure with rapid progression. Your class meets every Saturday for four high-tempo Danish lessons. During the rest of the week, you work independently with our online exercises and assignments according to your schedule.
The combination of intensive Saturday courses and flexible online self-study ensures that you quickly become good at Danish.
You may have more time during some weeks than others. With Saturday courses, you can adjust your workload of self-study and online exercises from week to week.
With a Danish CPR number, you can learn Danish free of charge at Copenhagen Language Center. New students enrolling in Danish courses will be charged a refundable deposit of DKK 1,250. Learn more about the new voucher system before you start classes.

Our Saturday courses are based on a flexible learning and teaching programme, including access to online exercises and assignments for self-study when it suits you. Adjust your self-study workload from week to week to regulate just how intensive your learning will be.
In the classroom, we emphasise spoken Danish and the importance of pronunciation. We aim to ensure that you quickly begin using Danish language in your daily life, while steadily improving your ability to read, write and speak Danish.
You can take all of your Danish language courses on Saturdays – or just a single module if Saturday courses are the best fit for your schedule during a shorter period of time.

... those who can work independently and focused. You have stable attendance and are dedicated to self-study. You should plan on spending 2 to 4 hours a week on self-study and homework.

Danish Courses on Saturdays
4 LESSONS EVERY SATURDAY
Danish courses on Saturdays are divided into modules. Choose between taking all of your Danish Courses on Saturdays, or just one or more modules as a Saturday course. We meet in the classroom every Saturday:
- Saturday classes are between the hours of 9:30 and 13:00
- 2 to 4 hours of self-study and homework weekly
- Module 5 concludes with Danish Exam 3
Classroom instruction will be in Danish as far as possible. English will be used to a lesser extent for difficult instructions, so the course also requires good English skills.

Danish Courses on Saturdays at Copenhagen Language Center are for students enrolled in Danish course 3.
To participate, you must have good progression and be prepared for a minimum of 2 hours of online self-study each week. The course requires that you are able to work independently and stay motivated.
Saturday course students are required to:
- Participate actively in Saturday classes
- Spend at least 2 hours each week working on online exercises and assignments
- Turn in homework assignments on time
As a Saturday course student, you will get:

Copenhagen Language Center students must be at least 18 years old, reside in Denmark and have a CPR number.
As a Saturday course student, you will follow a weekly curriculum planned by your teacher. Each week, you will work on all aspects of learning Danish: reading, listening, writing and speaking Danish – with a strong focus on pronunciation.
The classroom instruction features wide variety of learning methods, all of which actively engage and involve you.
Copenhagen Language Center uses the latest digital platforms and materials. As a student at Copenhagen Language Center, you also get access to our online platform, where you can find extra assignments and follow the class curriculum.
You will be enrolled in a Saturday course with other students at the same level as you. Regular class attendance is required for participation in the course.
The self-study component of Saturday courses is highly flexible. You can spend a shorter or longer time on online exercises from week to week, depending on how it fits into your everyday life. However, you must plan on spending a minimum of 2 hours weekly on learning Danish, in addition to the four Danish lessons each Saturday.
