Free Danish classes - Pros and Cons

12 Feb. 2020

As of July 1, 2020, state-funded Danish language courses will once again be free of charge. The current tuition of 2,000 DKK per module is being phased out for these schools. In other words, you can once again learn Danish (hopefully) without making much of a dent in your pocketbook.

Our new Danish learning concept

1 Dec. 2018

Assessments of our autumn courses have shown that, more than anything else, participants want the opportunity to practice and improve their spoken Danish. That’s why all of our Danish courses focus intensively on improving your ability to engage in conversation and express yourself in Danish.

Important changes to Danish classes in 2018

1 Jul. 2018

In 2018, new rules for Danish classes under the Danish Education Act were implemented. It is important to be aware of how these changes impact your right to a public Danish language education.

Learning Danish after July 1, 2018

31 May. 2018

It is no longer free to learn Danish at a language school if you are in Denmark to work, study or as an EU citizen. We will continue to offer high quality Danish courses at competitive prices after the new policy takes effect.

The rumours of our demise are greatly exaggerated

9 Apr. 2018

Here at Copenhagen Language Center, we’ve got all hands on deck to bring you even higher quality Danish courses beginning 1 August 2018. For you as a customer, this will mean courses in Danish language and culture that weren’t possible under the Act on Danish Language Courses.
